Villa AGA rises on the wild promontory facing the blue sea of the Gulf of Spotorno, a marine reserve where the scent of the sea mingles with the herbs of the barren Mediterranean scrub.
Noli’s medieval town
A few kilometers from the Villa you can find the medieval village of Noli, which only a few know as the fifth Ancient Maritime Republic. The apartments of VillaAGA are located close to the center, where you can breathe the air of history and the typical atmosphere of fishing villages. The historical landmarks of Noli are the Medieval Loggia of the Republic, St. Paragorio’s church, and the Tower of Four Sides.
The Pilgrim trail
The Pilgrim trail is a naturalistic walk that starts in Noli, leading to the discovery of the Bay of the Saracens (Baia dei Saraceni) and Beach of Malpasso (Spiaggia del Malpasso), pristine and wild beaches with crystal clear water, and ends in Varigotti, a fascinating ancient Saracen village.
Manie plateau
Behind the promontory where VillaAGA stands the Manie plateau, a natural seafront terrace, that stretches from Finale Ligure to Spotorno, is crossed by an extensive trail network, which is both viable by bike and on foot.
From spring to autumn, the surroundings offer the possibility of several outdoor activities for sporty people and nature lovers, like biking, hiking, paragliding, kayaking, diving, sailing, snorkeling, and scuba diving while also giving the opportunity to food and wine enthusiasts to discover the refined local wine production and taste the specialties of Ligurian cuisine.
